Hang on, it's going to be one hell of a ride...

[THIS IS A ROUGH DRAFT OF A VERY OLD STORY! IT IS NOT GOOD! AN UPDATED, EDITTED VERSION WILL BE POATED SOON]

Due to her parents' death, Christian Wells, and her siblings, are left in the care of a semi-distant uncle and aunt who live halfway across the country. She's not thrilled with being shipped from sunny Arizona to a tiny, practically non-existent, town in New York, where the weather is questionable, at best. She's also not thrilled with all of the things that it entails: a new school full of strangers, a painfully stereotypical school mean girl, boring teachers teaching things she never bothered to learn the first time, and somehow trying to make friends so she doesn't spend her high school career alone.

Little does she know, she's in for worse. Somehow, she has a run in with maniacal scientists and wakes up one morning with wings. Instantly, Chris, and the few friends she's managed to pick up along the way, are sucked into a plot none of them quite understand. They aren't the only ones though. The scientific mutants, who have labeled themselves either 'angel' or 'demon', are quickly spiraling out of the control of their megalomaniacal creators. Which raises the question: why were they given these mutations in the first place?

Book 1 of the Rising Phoenix trilogy. Would you choose love over peace? Two months away from her graduation day, all Cerise wants is to keep up her grades, continue inventing, and somehow manage to pay off her rent. The fact that she's Paris's secret thief by night makes life all the more exciting. That is, until she gets caught by her stepmother. The last person she wants anything to do with and the president. Her freedom from years in jail comes with a price - stealing from the Drakhenae. She has to steal the one thing that can give her race, the humans, exactly what they need to get rid of the Drakhenae once and for all, information on something stronger, something more than the Drakhenae, something that can destroy them. Information on an experiment that happened fifteen years ago, and about the test subject who disappeared. Despite the confusing tension and rough history between the two races, and the fact that to humans, the Drakhenae are predators, more reptile than human with their leathery wings, slit pupils and the scales on their cheeks, Cerise agrees to go. But her heist couldn't go more wrong, and to make things worse, she gets caught by Everard, the infuriating, confusing, drop-dead gorgeous Drakhenae. Add in the secrets of her past, and the fact that her heart is torn between two people, one with promises, another with secrets, Cerise doesn't know who to trust. And she quickly realizes that things can get worse, and can get worse fast. {Word Count: 50,000-60,000} **Will be undergoing a re-writing soon! This was one of my earlier books, so more improvement is definitely needed -- constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!*** Update 10/06/23: Re-writing will be underway, and as such, chapters will be removed from Wattpad except for the first few (find me on Instagram for further details and information on how you can still read this if you want to).

Three years after overcoming a devastating car accident, Todd wakes from what he thinks is a terrible dream to see his mother embrace his motionless body below, realizing he has died. To ease his transition into Heaven, he tells stories about the unconditional love of his mother, family, and friends to all the other little angels. One little angel, Haley, knew no such love during her short years on earth. She is enchanted by the goodness of Todd's family and decides to visit his mother on earth. Mesmerized by her daring adventure and happiness, all the other angels decide to follow her-leaving Heaven and finding families on earth who will also love them unconditionally. The sudden appearance of so many little children on earth in search of families, causes quite the stir in the small town of Woodridge Lake. As news reports go viral across the Nation, many undeserving parents recognize their deceased child, which leads to chaos, confusion, and fear. Todd is joined by an Elder, the Scribe, who is the keeper of all people and events on Earth. They need to gather all the little angels from earth and return them to Heaven before the news reporters discover the truth. And he must do it without being seen by his mother. Haley is the first one to convince. Meanwhile, on Earth, Alice (Todd's mother) has the daunting task of learning how to live without a part of her heart. Told from alternating POV (Todd and Alice) we follow their journey as they both travel into a new tomorrow neither of them expected to ever be so soon.

When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.
