This is a speech I wrote and delivered unbidden before my entire school as part of our Sources of Strength assembly to show what Sources of Strength is about and to point out a few things you can do to prevent bullying. I showed it to the school counselor, and she thought everyone should hear it. I hope you take its message to heart and pass it on.

This is a bio about me and what I went through as a child. You see I was abused not just by both parents but my whole family. I know you guys probably heard about all of this before but I want to write this. It will help me forget about my past and let me move on. I was suicidal and I wanted to give up but I didn't.
