Psychiatrists say that depression is a neurological disorder. Psychologists say that depression is a neurological disorder exacerbated by unpropitious environments. Existentialists argue that depression is the result of a deep-seated angst, a malady craving for meaning and self-actualisation. Whatever the case, when a bright and beautiful year twelve girl on her way to a perfect high school score decides to take a final leap of faith - these questions turn sour.

Trespassing Strangers offers no answers on the subject of suicide. Instead, it offers observations: A fictitious memoir of a not so ordinary girl, the people important to her, and the trespassing strangers all around.
