"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. I screamed out in agony and clutched my hip. There was a rock, stained with blood, that lay next to me. I saw a pair of oncoming rubber boots in the distance. I began to cry hysterically as I knew my freedom was short lived. "You! I thought you would cooperate!" the kidnapper screamed. I looked up at his furious face and gasped in horror as I saw a whip in his hand. "I should've never trusted you. You are my daughter, you stay with me.
