They didn't even know what real life was, the death, rejection, and revenge driven life that most of the agents in CIRA lived; if the world knew, they wouldn't be able to handle the truth. 

She could barely handle the truth when she laid eyes on her father, her past, her secrets, walking around alive and well. Anger was the first emotion, and the need for revenge came soon after. Pain flares up in my lower leg as though something bit me. The bullet ripped through my leg but stopped as I clearly have no exit wound. Expecting the man to have almost caught up with me, I look up only to see his back as he runs after Michael. *** 18 year old Blaze is kidnapped and taken from her home town along with her best friend Michael. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living.
