Demeter attends a prestigious boarding school with a logical brain and a lot of knowledge she finds useless, with all of the students having high grades and attending fun school events. But all that is nothing but a fabric of lies to cover up the truth. Demeter is already used to the strange things that happen in her school, from people screaming too loud, to people isolating themselves in a corner. This can even be considered normal. One is the main mansion, where we all used to live until it got really crowded, and then the second mansion belongs to Gracie. Her mansion is by a waterfall, just a ten minute walk away. Most of us have super powers. I mean, if the Capitol can make mutts, surely we can give ourselves super powers. Gracie has black wings, Talia has super speed, Chris has super strength, Derrick can make himself invisible. Nina can make herself invisible and make force fields too. We all have issues here. Sierra doesn't talk. Chris is a germaphobe. Chase cuts himself. We all have reasons for running away from the districts and the Capitol, but we've all found sanctuary here.
