"What do they call you?"
"Do... Do you mean my name?"
"No," she said with a straight face "I mean what do they call you."
"I'm not sure I-"
"There are no names here," the girl explained, pulling her crossed legs closer to her body. "Everyone is called by what the walls say. What do the walls call you?"
He thought for a moment, thinking about what the correct response would be. "Tristan?" He finally answered.
"I don't like it." She said. "What else do they call you?"
Tristan thought momentarily again. "Gulliver Beats?" He questioned.
"Nope." She shook her head while laughing. "That's not good either. I'll call you Mr. Beats. Yes, that's much better! Much better than the wall's thoughts. And besides," she leaned closer, causing Tristan to lean in as well. She whispered. "The walls aren't all entirely there, so what do they know?" She tilted her head and flashed a smiled to Tristan, causing him to let out a laugh with her.
