°Human Vampire
-They were once human but became human
-They can die if you strike something sharp in it's heart
-They don't have some special skills

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire. A fire that burned into my core.

**this book is completed!!** This is a story about werewolves with some witches and vampires thrown in. -Preview- I opened my eyes to see a woman standing in front of me. I don't know who this woman is or what's wrong. She has beautiful silver hair that's matted with leaves and sticks. Her face though beautiful is distraught, her face is a very creamy pale color. Her lips are as red as blood. She has tears running down her face and a bruise just below her left eye. She's holding my necklace. The moonlight shines on the single engraved word "Noel". "Take this." She says, "Noel! Take this and run. Put it around your neck and never, NEVER take it off. It will keep you safe." The woman hears something and turns around to look, then looks back at me with panic and sorrow in her eyes. I hear a male voice behind her mumbling something, I can't make out what he's saying. I can't make out the man's face as he walks up behind the woman and squeezes her shoulders. He takes the necklace wincing and slips it over my head. They're talking to me but I can't hear what they're saying. I only see the panic in their face. "Noel! RUN." I hear screams and growls as I'm running as fast as I can. I make it out of the woods and onto a street. I hear the woman's blood curdling scream before I'm blinded by a light and everything fades to darkness.

Have you ever thought that vampires existed? When you think of vampires, do garlic and stakes come to mind? Well, vampires do exist, but we are not what you think. Vampires aren't just blood-craving monsters who hunt humans; we are peaceful. We do have sharp fangs, that much is true, but we aren't allergic to garlic; in fact, some of us love it, myself included. We don't burst into flame, or melt in the sunlight, and we definitely do not sparkle in the sun either. As vampires, we live for thousands, and sometimes even hundreds of thousands of years (if a pesky, self-righteous human doesn't drive a stake into our heart first...). I am not young by vampire terms. New and young vampires, are "Newlings". Until a vampire is at least one hundred years old, they can't turn a human into a vampire, and are considered a Newling. But I'm what we call a "Maturling". Maturlings are at least a century old. In vampire years, I'm one hundred, on the dot. Though in human years, I'm about twenty-one. There is a third category of vampires called "Purelings". Purelings are vampires who have always been － well, vampires, － and have never had a single human in their family tree. Purelings, unlike all other vampires, can turn a human at any age. (Imagine being turned into a vampire by a toddler... yikes). Like with all cultures, there are things that are forbidden. For vampires, we are not allowed, by any means, to turn a human out of spite, or if they refuse to be one of us, but when feelings are surface, they can change things forever...
