In the year 2094, the world as we knew it changed. It was the eve of another world war and everyone knew that another one would kill the world. But World War X was a thing, was just about to start, was building up to its climax, when the power went out. Every single bit of electricity fizzled into nothing. Wifi was gone. Phones wouldn't work. Lights wouldn't turn on. Nothing from the Modern Era worked. Unless you were one of Them. They don't have a name, They don't have faces. They simply hold all the electricity. What does this mean? World peace? No. It means nuclear reactors being destroyed. It means millions of people dying and many more sick. It means the loss of medicine as we knew it to be. It mean't the end of the world. World wars weren't a problem anymore. Instead, civil wars broke out. Leaders rose only to fall within a month. Everything was gone. But those who could banded together. Some formed teams that tried to figure out how to restore power, others just tried to keep alive. They moved away from the big cities and into the rural areas where they could hide with ease. The desert was forsaken because it became to hot to deal with. That is, unless you know what your doing. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.

But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
