Susan Asher Raymond is one of the most sought girls in St. Teresa's. No, she's not a cheerleader (though she used to be), not exactly hot or someone who dresses provocatively. She's a simple middle-class girl, who works after school, hates biology, counts the number of pages before starting a chapter, pulls the door that has 'Push' written on it and all. But being in the last year of her high school career, she is on a mission to make it quite memorable by stirring some trouble. Only her one trouble leads to another putting her into endless drama leading to hilarious situations. But when her popularity steers some more trouble than intended, she's facing something called 'The Popularity Crisis'.

*Excerpt*

"Good Morning class. I am Ms. Bastin, your new Biology teacher. As you are aware, your previous teacher Mrs. Syblle retired last year."

Susan, who would have hated the new teacher because of the subject she taught, disliked the arrogance in her voice.

"As this is my first day, I won't teach. We will try to get to know each other better. You can ask me anything you want to know. Just raise your hand."

Well, nothing better than that, the class thought.
Rachael raised her hand. "Where did you teach before?"
"I taught in St. Patrick's, Robin Wood High School, Mary Republic School and East High School for one year respectively." Ms. Bastin answered with smile on her face.

"Well, looks like someone got kicked out for quite a number of times." Susan's whisper could be heard right to the first bench of the class but surprisingly the teacher did not seem to notice the slight shake of laughter making its rounds in the class

"New student, right?" the Principal asked me. I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was! "Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together." My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!" "I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest. "You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???" "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate. Add to this generous amounts of classes, detentions, friends, enemies, crushes, heart breaks and Andrea is all set to have an eventful year in High School that she was for sure not looking forward to! ~*~~*~*~~*~ #7 in Teen Fiction 4.5.16

Madeline found the note in her locker. Neatly folded, it held a pair of razor blades and a set of instructions. "Just die, ugly girl. No one will miss you." She doesn't know who gave it to her. Or any of the others before it. But she knows one thing: they're right. No one will miss her. Her mother is dead, her dad is more a theory than a parental figure, and her friends are the stick figures she draws in her notebooks. So, when someone she barely knows invites her to the school graduation party, there's no reason for her to go. A girl like her at a party like that? Eating a bowl of live spiders would be a better idea. And yet, she accepts. She goes. She doesn't know what she expects to find there. She doesn't even know why she said yes. Out of desperation? Because she thinks she'll somehow make friends? Prove, somehow, that the razor note is wrong? Whatever her reasons, what she finds is a surprise. And not the one she wants. She's given one more note. And what's written inside this one will make her face the truth she's been hiding from for seven years. And the truth about Madeline Parker will either fix her, and finally make her worthy of being loved, or it will prove that the note with the razors is right. Or both. -- Complete and professionally edited. Also on sale (www.lifelostandfound.com) where 150% of all sales go to charity, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Dedicated to all of us who need a reason to keep going. Especially now. I hope it makes you laugh. And I hope it helps you realize you're not alone. (Warning -- Do not read this book if you: look amazing all or most of the time, never worry about what people think of you, have more friends than Estonia has people, or are allergic to the word "shenanigans". Especially that last one, because it's used once or twice and you may experience a reaction. Also, you should probably see a doctor about that. I closed my eyes tightly until I heard laughing. No, I could feel the laughing. My eyes sprang open to find Miles on top of me. I was laying flat on my back in the dirt with my glove with the ball inside pressed against his chest. Miles was not at all fat, but he was 6'2 compared to my barely 5'3. I could feel his chest rumbling and shaking with laughter as I lay humiliated on the ground. "I didn't know you liked being on the bottom," Miles said loudly. The whole field cracked up with that. I struggled under him and shoved him off of me. All of the guys were howling with laughter as I got up and swiped all the dirt off me. "Pervert," I muttered, before tossing the ball out of my glove to hit him in the thigh. I stalked across the field without another word. The whole team was in hysterics as I shoved all my things in my bag and practically ran off to get away. ... His rough hands pushed me firmly against the wall. He placed his hands on either sides of my head, I was cornered with nowhere to go. He pressed his big muscular body up against my tiny one. He is a teacher for crying out loud. "You didn't do your homework," he sarcastically whispered against my lips. "I..I well." I stuttered not being able to make full sentences. "Do I make you nervous?" Mr. Matthews asked whilst pushing his body even closer to mine, which I didn't think was possible but apparently it was. I was now squeezed in between the wall and him. I gulped. "no, I just forgot. Besides I'm not the only one" I stated matter-of-factly. He grinned "I know, but I wanted to keep you behind. Want to know why?" he asked. I slowly nodded my head in a 'yes'. I felt him smirk against my lips. He pulled away slightly making my lips itch to touch his again. "Because you drive me crazy, I can't stop thinking about you" he murmured whilst placing tiny pecks from my cheek to my jawline. Each kiss leaving a tingly and hot sensation behind... "Ms.Nottage" "Ms.Nottage" "MS.NOTTAGE" "One day I'm seriously going to kill her" I whisper to myself as I got up and looked Ms.Noble in her old wrinkly caked up face. "Ms.Nottage speaking how can I be of service to you today" I smiled a innocent smile that didn't reach my eyes. "Is there a reason your sleeping in my class?" Aren't teachers suppose to have sense at least common??I couldn't help fixing my face in disgust as she folded her arms pushing her breast up. "I'm positive that whatever excuse I give I'm still going to get detention." I stared at her blankly. I smirk as I watch the vein on her neck pop out almost as if its beeping. "Why do you have to be such a bitch?" I immediately notice the attention of the whole class on us. Turning my head slowly towards the bold speaker I said "Why do you have to be a nosy nancy?" The speaker rushes to his feet ready to attack his prey as if he didn't know I'll always be the predator. "Temper Matthew temper" I said shaking my head at him watching as he's held back by fellow classmates I have yet to know the name of, not that I tried. "We wouldn't want you to end up in a coma again now would we." "You know one day someone's going to beat you to a pulp." Shaking off his 'friends' when they realized he's calmed down all having a seat except Mr.Bold of course. "And one day your going to drop down dead" As if I'm a witch a bullet flies through the wall into Matthews skull and what do you know he does drop down dead. Looking down at his body and up at everyone's shock and disbelief face I say "Likes like I'm going to need a lawyer" And as if on cue the sounds of screams and bullets occurs around me.This is going to be a long day.
