In the year 2157, being you and who you are is excepted in society. Society is back to being ruled by Kings and Queens with their puppet dukes terrorizing the poor. For Lily Van Dal, daughter of the most powerful duke of the 22nd century, she cant be open about herself. Growing up she learned how to hide her true self and be the way her father wants her. She is suppose to marry the Crown Prince Arro de Camillo. That's what her father wants, along with the rest of the royal court. She was going to do as she was told. That is, until she met Jean Symons... Jean Symons was your average lower class citizen. She is openly gay. To most women in her community call her the lady changer, always changing the straight to gay just for her own guilty pleasure. That is partly true. Jean did change the way other women saw themselves, but did it for the good of them. But her days of changing women were over when her eyes fell apon Lily. Lily was something special, something Jean wanted forever to be hers.

I don't recommend reading this if you want a well written story! It's in dire need of some serious editing! Can you really leave your past behind you? Can you lock it away, in the darkest recesses of your mind? Or will it always be there, hiding in the shadows, waiting to pounce? When Lily moved to London from Wales, she thought that it would be a fresh start. But her problems just seem to follow her wherever she goes. Silently struggling to come to terms with the situation surrounding her parents' death, Lily hopes that finding a job and being independent will help her to get the courage she needs to move on. But things can never stay "just good", her demons from the past will always try to rear their ugly heads, ready to pounce when Lily least expects it. When it all becomes too much, Lily doesn't know if she will lay down and take it or fight to the death. And maybe, at the end of it all there will be a knight in shining armour, ready to whisk her away.
