Rikka Lee is your typical high school sophomore looking for trouble. Unlike her older sisters, Yuri and Kim, Rikka is not exactly the perfect daughter. She often talks back, using sarcasm as her second language and gets into fights a lot. After moving in with her grandparents for summer vacation, Rikka discovers an odd book in the manor's library. A series of events transports Rikka to another dimension: to the ancient Han dynasty. Rikka is suddenly labeled as one of the Zodiac Guardians and has to be constantly on the run -- for a certain Dark Lord wants her head!
