As Time Goes By

(this is what I'm trying to write for class, please criticize freely thanks friend)

Hadley Campbell is a girl whose dad died when she was too little to remember. Her brother Gideon does, however, and takes out his rage over his father's death on her. Their mother has three jobs, and when she loses one, there isn’t enough money to keep their broken family together. Albert the friendly homeless man gives Hadley advice, and she takes it, running away from home.

She returns two years later to find her family in even more pieces than before. Her mother is dying in the hospital and her brother has gone into the drug business to try and pay the bills. Hadley tries to help them out, but it might not be enough.

(i'd also like to say that I have no idea how hospitals work so i made it up :/ ok thanks friend)
