Elysia is one of the most corrupted countries in the whole of the Lycian continent; Elysia has a long history of various foreign rulers that invaded their country, however in the last decade Elysia has become independent country who have been allied with the northern areas of the continent, mainly Skatzgarde as they are the foreign rulers in Leos and Hecate. Over the years Elysia has become very nationalist in their ideology as they have great pride in their country even though they do not have the best economic capital.

In the past few years Helba a neighbouring country has blamed that Elysia had sent assassins to kill their only heir Prince Valente however these allegations were not backed up with any evidence. Elysian royals have been plotting to take over Helba as they have resources they desire such as they are a fishing country that is not land locked like Elysia. While they are allies with Leos and Hecate they only support each other in wars and do not give them any resources even though they are not land locked. Helba has feared that Elysia is plotting to take over their country so they want to provoke them to start a war before they gain powerful allies. Helba is allied with Verdante a powerful country that owns other countries in northern Lycia, most conflicts are in the south. The royals of Elysia know that Elysia as a whole is not regarded as a aggressive country as such they are looking for skilled mercenaries to carry out their deeds.

The Band Of Vultures is a relatively new mercenary group that would do anything for money and personal gain. They could do this by aiding their own country by doing their bidding, betraying Elysia by helping other enemy countries or simply overthrow the government.
