{Modern day Merlin AU, Merthur}
The dragon promised Arthur's return, but Merlin never expected it to be like this. After spending 2000 years holding onto that promise, the very least Merlin could have hoped for was a glimpse of his King on the streets- what he got , however, was so much more. He has a chance to do it all again in a modern world where his love is no longer illegal, and where he and Arthur are not seperated by class or status. However, nothing has ever been so simple for him: not only has Arthur returned, but so have Morgana, Uther and the knights of the Round Table, not to mention a few enemies who would have been better dead and the fact that none of them know who they once were or who Merlin is. Faced with the dangers of repeating his mistakes, Merlin embarks on a journey to find peace and fulfill the destiny he had assumed complete.

The very peace that was responsible for killing thousands of Druids. Thousands of innocent lives. Arthur has finally grown to an age of true understanding, and has decided that his father's ruling must be brought to an end... a timely death... however the chaos of it all is that he now must seek out a specific druid, one that was born of those his father had killed long ago, in order to assist in his own takeover.
