Mindi Evris is a sixteen year old lombax that was raised by her older brother Ratchet after their father abandoned them. Mindi and Ratchet have been close up until the night Mindi was taken by Dr. Rufford.

It's a year later and Mindi is about to learn something that will change her life forever.
