Rose has always known her older sister was demented so when Lily commits suicide one night, it doesn't surprise her. Now that Lily was starting to complete the plans she made as a child, Rose's entire family would probably be dead in the next seven days. All she needs to do is come up with her own plans to save everybody, or at least her younger sister, Fern.

Everyone suffered through hard times in the COVID years. Olivia, on the other hand suffered through everything. She felt like the universe targeted her, and that she would never get a good ending. Her hope that things would get better was fading by the day. Did she do something wrong? She must have done something to deserve such punishments. Well, at least that is what she believes. After the loss of her beloved younger sister, she needed to step up. But what she wasn't prepared for was having to protect her little brother from her own parent. Feeling lost, and never feeling the comfort of a home, will Olivia be able to break her bad luck? "Because maybe all along I am the reason everyone else had to start suffering in 2019."

The only a adults are the Helpers (the doctors) as Rose likes to call them and Them but Rose doesn't ever know if they're human.
