Avery and her parents had planned a week long getaway in New York with relatives, but the trip takes a turn when Avery's grandmother gets sick. Her parents leave, and Avery is alone with her aunt and cousin. Then, a virus breaks out in the US, infecting hundreds, thousands, and Avery is left with only one desire: to make it home alive.
