"And what?!"

"They aren't meant to fall for you."

A celestial being named Aster falls from the sky onto the front yard of the young novice witch, Philomel. He says he wants to take revenge on his lover, who was supposed to be with him on Earth, by returning to the sky and giving her a piece of his mind. Doing this, however, requires a witch, and Philomel may or may not be the correct person for the job. Nonetheless, two set off on a journey filled across the world filled with romance, drama, humor, old friends, new enemies, and most of all, magic.
