Layla and Mimi are best friends. Mimi is trying to become an internet sensation, and Layla is trying to get a good education at the local college, Cherry City University. The two teens are living in an apartment across from the University, in the center of town.
Twice a week, Mimi goes to her private vocal teacher, Angel to practice her songs before she records them. She also visits her boyfriend Alex, on the weekends.
Layla attends her classes every other day and does housework on her days off. She has a major crush on the Cherry City's quarterback of the football team, Carlos.
The football season has just ended and Winter is just around the corner. The two best friends are hoping for a romantic Christmas and a beautiful snowfall. Will all their wishes really come true? Are there really such things as happy endings? Will they find true love? Will their never ending schedule make them drift apart?
No one knows. No one can see the future, and that's life...
