Isadora Hernandez was living her best life. She had moved out of her parents' house, was working on her degree, and set with the man of her dreams. That was, until he broke up with her after their first time together. She was filled with pure, seething rage and deemed that not another man would ever waste her precious time ever again. But then by sheer chance, she meets Aidan, and now she's not so sure anymore.

Fresh out of high school, all Aidan Hale wanted was a break. With his parents breathing down his neck about college applications, a girlfriend who wanted intimacy all the time, and a job that was stressing him out to no end, he could never catch one. A few days after his graduation, he decides enough is enough and travels to South Carolina to visit friends for the summer.
