Arie has been bullied since the sixth grade. She has only one friend and no self-esteem. One day, while trying to flee her tormentors, Erran [her mate] ends up hearing her desperate cries for help and runs to her rescue. Once the two find out that they are meant to be, Arie gets freaked out and tries to ignore him [seeing as she is not very trusting in other people] while Erran tries to do everything in his power to get her to him, even if it means getting the help of his friend who just so happen to be on of her bullies.
