"I was overly aware of his numbing touch, the brush of his piercing eyelashes as he whispered, his callous, electric fingers slowly releasing the pressure from my arm, his flowing, quiet chuckle as he took in my reaction. It was all intensified, even the pulse of his heartbeat I felt in his wrist when I brought my other hand up to push him away. And out of all the days I've ever lived, out of all the things I had ever experienced, I'd never felt so alive as I did in that moment. "

Strangers. That's the only word to describe Quinn's psychology class. And now that her teacher sees it too, he's determined to get his students to become friends, or at least friendly acquaintances. Enter the experiment: a project designed with thirty six questions to develop an intimate relationship between you and your partner.

Quinn, a self proclaimed good girl, only has one month remaining until graduation to retain her perfect GPA, finish this last major project, and to take her relationship with her boyfriend to the next level. In fact, all is going according to plan until she is paired with Noah, the town's resident bad boy, for the project. Between the late nights struggling to get the assignment done, budding feelings, and bitter heart aches, Quinn realizes that Noah just happened to be the only person who was capable of turning her life upside-down over the coarse of thirty-one days.

"No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. But will he listen? _____________________________________ He looked at me with hurt in his eyes as I backed away. This is exactly what I wanted, but at the same time what I didn't want. He started to turn away. "Fuck it." I mumbled. He turned back to me just as I jumped onto him wrapping my arms around his neck and legs around his waist. I crashed my lips into his, kissing him hard. He didn't hesitate. He kissed me back. He pushed me against the bedroom door, running his hand up my thigh. I moaned slightly. His tongue touched my bottom lip asking for entrance that I didn't hesitate to grant him. I bit his bottom lip, which only made him push me harder into the door. His lips strayed down to my neck kissing softly. I began breathing heavily. "Sky." I hear Mel say, knocking on my door. I pulled away from Damon, breathing heavily. Melanie was home. Of course, she would want to tell me about her date with Blake. Damon put me back down on the floor and quickly walked into the closet. I opened the door. "Hey!" I said. She started walking into my room. I stopped her. "Let's go to your room." I told her, hoping Damon would take the hint.

She traced small circles on my chest. Her breath tickled my skin reminding me how close her lips were. I sighed in content. "I'm sorry," she whispered and I sat up confused. She moved away from me creating distance that I found myself detesting. "Whatever for?" I asked and a small blush appeared on her adorable face. "I can't give what the others can, Cole," her face fell and I sighed, "You are a very physical person and I know that. The whole school knows that...I just... I can't, I am so sorry," My heart clenched. "I want you to know that," she continued, "so that if it's a deal breaker for you..." She paused turning away completely and standing up leaving me alone on the mat she had laid out for us. We were in the library, second floor during free period. Then she started to walk towards the stairs not even sparing me a glance. I shot to my feet, fumbling with the buttons on my shirt, "Julia, dammit wait a second, will ya?" I pleaded and she stopped, her hand holding the door knob so tight her knuckles turned white. "It's not a deal breaker," I sighed surprising both myself and her too. Then she turned uncertain and stared at me in question. "Cole, I am offering you a clean way out, you know that," she stated very articulately, she sounded like she was scolding me, "take it and let's remember this when it was good." "I don't care, Jules." I said walking toward her, "with you, there is no deal breaker, whether you blow me off to study, which you do quite a lot by the way," she chuckled and I swooped in gathering her in my arms feeling every curve the way I liked. "Or fall asleep talking to me on the phone," I placed a kiss on her nose and her blush rose higher, "There is no deal breaker with you,"

"What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code." "Tutor code?" I ask, puzzled. "Yes, the tutor code. It states that a student must make sure his tutor is never upset or crying and if he does ever find her like this it's his job to make her smile at any cost," he tells me. "You just made that up." "Maybe I did but that doesn't matter. Come on," he says, extending his hand out to me. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." ~*~*~ Aurora is a normal seventeen year old, happy and content with life. However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. And just maybe making a deal with the bad boy isn't such a smart idea. ~*~*~ *contains mature language* #9 in high school 20/02/19 #1 in young love 14/03/19 #2 in chicklit 27/03/19 #1 in heartbreak 08/04/19 #21 in teenfiction 26/08/20 #10 in romance 26/08/20 #1 in bad boy 02/04/21
