It's 2009, Dan and Phil are still long distance. They have only met in person once, but it makes leaving Phil and loving Phil so much harder for Dan. Over a Skype call Dan breaks down to Phil about Phil not being able to love him long distance. Phil is the one person that has made that depression go away, and he doesn't want to fall back. Until depression finally falls away.
