My Best Friend's Brother

Meet Hanna Johnson. She's been hopelessly in love since the third grade, when she ran into Luke Davis and he picked up her books for her like a gentleman should. The sad part that makes her stereotypical is the fact that it's her best friend's brother. She's always had trouble with love, always the nice, sweet girl who's getting cheated on. It's not that nice guys don't like her, it's that she's completely oblivious. It's only right that you should meet Luke Davis, as well. He's the popular senior that everyone that is anyone at Rydell Highschool wants to be around. He has a gorgeous girlfriend, is captain of the baseball team, and can charm any teacher into letting him off the hook. So basically, he's your average jock, with higher grades. Hanna and Luke have grown up together; watching movies, sharing food, even sharing a bed, and they've never shared a moment. Not until Luke brother, Carter, dares Hanna to kiss Luke. Hanna, wanting to keep her crush on the down low, just kisses the side of his head. After that kiss, Luke decides that a kiss on the side of the head won't satisfy his needs. Luke, used to getting what he wants, expects Hanna to run to him and never leave, and even though that's exactly what Hanna wants to do, she knows better. She doesn't want to make the same mistakes she's been making her whole life. This year, the tables are turned, and it's Luke finally chasing after Hanna, realizing that he has, in fact, fallen in love with her.
