"Follow a path to survive." He whispered before the shadows took him. That's how I found myself on the train tracks. I follow the path to a city, or town and scavenge. "Stealth is survival." I've heard from previous passers. Sometimes you can't help people, it's heartbreaking, but we live in a world of survival. I can't pull someone along and feed them. Besides there is not a lot of supplies left out here. Read through a child's journey through a zombie infested world, where walkers are not the only problem out there.

My name is Cassy woods I am 16, I have always been the quiet one, avoiding the spotlight, trying my best to stay out of trouble. Now in a world devastated by death and disease thats the best thing to do. ~~~~~~~~~~ Two years ago a disease broke out, killing people.. however it didn't stop there it brought the dead back..... But they weren't the same, they killed and ate anything that moved. The government decided to bomb the cities most infected to slow the spread, but that just made things so much worse. That's not what I fear though, what I fear most is the people who are left. The people we were are gone, and people will do anything it takes to survive.. if there is one thing I would tell the old me it's fight the dead... but fear the living. (Sorry walking dead I love that quote)
