We all like to believe that we are untouchable- that when disaster strikes into our lives we will fight back and soldier on. This is natural. It is part of our survival instincts. Survival instincts that evolution hardwired into our brains over millions of years. I am untouchable- or so I thought. As it turns out, I was among every other human being when I bought into the pyramid scheme that is this fearless phenomena. This belief we have, I regret to inform you, is completely false.
Life has its ways, it's tricks of luring you into a fierce trap that will be your destroyer. Take my word for it when I say that this trap will show you no benevolence , for it does not know mercy. It will break you in places you never knew could be broken.
For now though, we shall start at the beginning, and the beginning for me, was the outlandish idea of falling in love.
"And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah."
