Amaryllis Schuler is a person who just has to be the best. She was in the top band, first chair, and her band placed first in every competition. That is, until Redhall High School decided to join that year. She decided to enroll into Redhall, Coldmallow no longer being good enough for her.
Asher Landry is a normal band member at Redhall. He meets Amaryllis and becomes entranced. They both seem to click immediately and spend lots of time with each other.
The problem is, Asher has a big secret and he's not really okay with coming out with it. Not when he's finally found someone who loves him for who he is.
