Bright has had a great share of life and everyday for the past seven years she is constantly reminded of what bad choices life has dished for her, her son Jake.
Although, she loves her son, she can't just help but feel that she is suffering because she offended God, maybe her family members did or what she did in her "previous life"
she needs help in other to move on and make a better life for her son, who is going through his own childhood sufferings.
Jake needs his mother to be emotionally stable.

Edward is a Counsellor and also a lecturer, he takes both seriously. He loves his job and he has a sole purpose of "healing the broken hearted" an assignment that was given to him.
