We stopped at a small, almost deserted gas station to fill up. While my dad filled the tank me and Jase went into the small shop. We bought 3 bottles water and 3 packet of chips. 

"Why are gas stations always so creepy? " Jase asked.

"I don't know Jase... do you know?"I replied

"I don't know either ... that's why I'm asking you, dummy" Jase said in a duh-tone

"Hey! Don't be sassy with me young man... One day that sharp tongue of yours will cut your lips, so watch it" I said. I sound like my mom... No! I don't! She was selfish! She just left us withou any reason. I don't sound like her and i will never be like her either! Never. 

I then heard a voice from out of the corner. The dark corner. 

"We had a few attacks here a few days ago. That's why it's deserted. They're waiting to attack again. That's why it feels creepy because people feel it. People feel the danger coming and it creeps them out. It ain't nowhere safe no more." The person said with a gruff voice. 

Who are they? 

"C'mon Jase, let's..." I started when Jase interrupted me

"Who's they?" He asked the question I thought. 

"Wouldn't you want to know? Come here and I'll tell you." The gruff voice said and I saw a hand appear out of the shadows...The hand was wrinkled and looked all greasy and dirty.  Jase started walking to the voice when I grabbed him on the collar. 

"No! We have to go" I said with a strict voice."Here's the money for the things." I slammed a few dollars on the counter, picked up the things and dragged Jase out of the store. Before I could exit I heard a faint whisper from the voice. "Zombies..."All Rights Reserved

Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her.
