Give me a Chance

This story is taking the perspective of Chance a 8 year old leopard appaloosa who has been recently abandoned, scarred, he struggles to trust any one any more and Hope a 21 year old girl who gives horses a second chance struggles with her own problem, the place where Chance is left to die.

All I remember is flashing lights, the poring rain, and those loud sirens blaring watching in horror as my owner was being slugged into the backseat of that car, as the siren grows faint in the distance I wonder, will this be the end?

~Hope~
Why thats all i can think about is why.
I'm supposed to rescue abandoned, mistreated, and scarred horses, and I can't even build up the courage to go see him, man what kind of healer am I?

There is a real mystery going on, will Hope and Chance find and heal each other or will Chance die trying?
