He screamed, his heart pounding. He felt a rush of adrenaline and my vision twisted, and he saw his father running  towards me.
He felt like he'd been punched.
'Dad...' a ghost of a whisper left his lips.
    I remember.
He didn't love him. No one did.
He saw the villagers, saw their smiles. He stumbled backwards, his eyes wide with fear.
How could they smile at him, after everything they'd done? After they left him in a place of torment and fear? After they broke his heart into too many pieces, after they killed the small boy that was me, and created the love, the dark hate that consumes me?
   His heart healed.
But it set wrong. Now all I can feel is my hate, hate and rage at the world, at them.
I am no longer who I was.
That boy was in a different life.
  They have destroyed me.
But I will rise out of the ashes, an avenging force. I am the curse of hiccup, the boy who is gone.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
