There were two kinds of attack. The first was a personal attack, where the cyber criminal launched a virus against a website. The second was more serious and involved somebody accessing the information you held online, often big businesses, and stealing your data or using the information to try and defraud your customer base.
It was against such a background that Rita worked, working for the big insurance companies in the City of London. She'd turned down an opportunity to work in Norwich, which would have entailed a seaside posting, something she dreamed of, but she knew in her heart that the big action was in the city.
