FREELANCER. BOOK ONE of the FREELANCER SERIES
Back in the late 1990's a great PC game came out called FREELANCER. It was an open galaxy adventure space game that had a good storyline. I spent untold hours flying through space in this game and I always thought it was ripe for a spinoff side story but I never pursued it. Nearly 30 years later I discovered a website called GOOD OLD GAMES where you could find and download many great games of yore. There I found FREELANCER. So I climbed back into the cockpit of a starfighter after so long and have enjoyed it even more than I did way back when. Once again the possibility of a side story presented itself and this time I have risen to the challenge. I have always been an avid reader of SCI-FI and I will be the first to tell you that I have blatantly used ideas from other sci-fi works in my story. I have also used names of real people and places to flesh out my narrative. And as a warning for those offended by sexual content, I have included some pretty erotic sexual segments in my story, so you may want to close your eyes as you read those parts. If you have ever enjoyed playing the FREELANCER PC game, you may enjoy my story. Let me know. As a side note to the story: In the story there is a space station named Lajes. In the following books I have changed the name from Lajes to Freeport Seven. Sorry if it causes any confusion.Complete

|| You probably think it was a typo in the title, but I meant to put that there for a reason || Read to find out ;) ____________________________________________________ A normal planet with a modern society, that is until 50,000 years ago, a strange meteorite crashed upon Earth and leaked its metallic liquid. The man who discovered it decided to make the metallic liquid into arrows. He then buried them underneath his homeland and in the year 2000, it was eventually discovered and monstrous beings called "Klaxosaurs" begin appearing. The arrows were a sign of hope as when exposed to the air, it chose which people to grant powers from. A visual manifestation of life energy to the user. Ordinary people cannot see it, but people who were granted with these powers can see it. It could not be harm by ordinary things, only other special people can hurt it. This was known as a Stranxx, and people who were granted these powers used it to kill the infestation of Klaxosaur. Some used it for good, some used it for bad but they didn't know that there would be a school just to train your Stranxx and fight Klaxosaurs. Thus we focus on our main protagonist, Hiro. He is Stranxxless but he has a dream, and that dream is to be known as the #1 Hero that destroys Klaxosaurs in one swoop. So he thinks that the program will help him fight the Klaxosaurs. She screamed. Panic started to set in. She was back. She couldn't be taken away from Adrik again. The grip on her tightened. She thrashed. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. They took her onto a simi large craft. Out of the corner of her eye in the shadows on Adrik property she saw a man in all black wearing armor watching as they put her on board.
