Meet Alessandra Lopez. She is a 30 year old single mom trying to juggle her motherly responsibilities and her struggling Food Truck business in Toronto. When she gets a call from the bank saying she is going to get evicted from her home, Alessandra loses all hope. Then, she gets another call, but this time from Los Angeles. It turns out the Toronto Star newspaper has given her food truck a five-star review and she has been invited to participate in the Food Truck Championship! Leaving all her stress behind, Alessandra heads to L.A., where she meets Eugene, her competitor and true love.
