Straight, raven-haired people, they possess unique and unusual abilities; they have such strange power or can it be magic? They are once the healers of the land of Cellis, but they were accused of spreading a disease and they were thrown far away to live at the eastern end part of Cellis, the town of Yel, and were labeled "witches".

Years after, they were killed...no one knows that one survived, a timid yet strong-willed young lady. Alone, she lives to discover, to heal people and unexpectedly finds love.

In the hidden, enchanted city of Arcadian Veil, Princess Lian Yue is a vision of grace-brilliant in medicine, breathtaking in beauty, and unwavering in her devotion to her people. One fateful night, she crosses the sacred boundary of Arcadian Veil, not out of reckless curiosity, but for reasons she is afraid to face. There, she saves a gravely wounded man by the river, unaware that he is Crown Prince Rui Xian of the Xiang Empire, a man marked for death. Before he can ask her name, she vanishes into the night, but the memory of her lingers. When their paths cross again a year later, Rui Xian is determined not to lose her twice. Bewitched by her presence and intrigued by her sharp wit, he offers her an impossible choice: stay by his side as his future wife, even though he is unaware of her true origins. But Lian Yue has no interest in becoming a prince's possession, not when the past still binds her to a world she cannot leave behind. As betrayals unfold, long-buried secrets rise, and an enemy with ties to her past threatens everything, Lian Yue must decide where her heart truly belongs. In the end, love alone may not be enough to hold them together, but perhaps, the woman who once dedicated herself to duty will find that home is not a kingdom, but the arms of the man who would burn the world for her. Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Power Struggle, Adventure FYI this is my original story so please don't plagiarize, that's a crime. This is a "He fell first, falls harder and does everything to make her his own" kind trope. Enjoy!

"Well, I guess it can't be helped," Duke Damian turned to face me. His ocean blue eyes boring into mine. "Though I wanted to talk to you more.." He said, with longing in his eyes and voice, and a hint of curiosity, which surprised me. I thought I sensed a bit of coldness from him a while ago. "It is truly a pleasure meeting you, Elen." He kissed my gloved hand once again, which made me inhale deeply, as if his touch sends electricity up to my spine. "And I, you Damian." * * * A 29-year-old soon-to-be physician, Eleanor, found herself waking up in a strange world where magic and mythical creatures exist, spells are cast, and an entire kingdom that needs to be saved by a long lost princess..
