Okay, so, me and my girlfriend are doing a small RP one night over the phone and I was playing Dead Space 3, so I thought to myself, "What if I did a SU and Dead Space FanFic clashed?"
So! Here is the result!
I will warn you now, there will probably be sex scenes, harsh language, shipping, and violence.
Steven is 18 now, he's more involved in the Gem's work now...but what happens when his mother's past comes knocking on their front door?
Homeworld has a history of violence, backstabbing and secrets.... but what if one of these secrets got loose and began to spread? What if Homeworld and the Crystal Gems have to unite?
What if Rose wasn't actually gone, but merely...Changed?
And what if Rose came back for Steven, but no one else could see or hear her but him?

The Strange Gem ( Gem!Reader x Steven Universe Various)
VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW UPDATES! Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
