Stephanie Sy never expected that her curiosity towards her estranged grandma will lead her to a series of bizarre--most of them silly--misadventures. Prompted by the dead woman's diary and accompanied by the annoying but charming Erik, what can she find in this quirky journey of self-discovery and love?

***

Bratty, city chic Stephanie Sy never expects she'll go through mishaps--and more--when she ventures to an unfamiliar place for her grandmother's wake and funeral where she discovers the woman's old diary and a supposed upcoming meeting with a man from her past.

Never knowing her grandmother, Stephanie decides to visit the places Corazon went to and meet Antonio, the first man to break her grandmother's heart. What follows is a spontaneous adventure Stephanie sets for herself. Joining her is Erik, a man with the heart of a child and a few secrets of his own. Entangled in a series of unfortunate events, Steph will have her own journey of self-discovery and love.

He simmers with rage at his own helplessness. But it's not just the frustration of being left in the dark-it's the suffocating, maddening pull she has on him. His heart, so carefully locked away, is now a battlefield of anger and longing. What happens when these two collide again? Will old emotions simmer beneath the surface, as ancient and unchanging as the hills themselves? Or will the rage that has festered between them tear them apart, leaving only bitterness in its wake? 11/4/23-
