Maria Ruccuzzo would rather be spending her summer break curled up on the sofa eating junk food and catching up on Once Upon A Time. But when her Arab neighbors, people she consider family, force her on a trip to Saudi Arabia for their friend's wedding, things start to get complicated. The Saudi Prince, whose wedding is a week away, has a slight problem. One week before the wedding date, his bride has run away, off the grid and is no where to be found. With the wedding the only thing in his way of claiming the throne, and easing a political upset brewing in the country, things could start going a little down hill. Maria, a native Colombian, who's never been to the Middle East, or in a steady relationship, has one thing about her that the Prince can't get over. She's so similar to his runaway bride. To save the nation from what could eventually lead to a civil war, Maria has to agree to marry the Prince- who she's only met that day. But maybe it's not the best decision to have a lively, colorful South American in a culture with such strict and modest laws. Or maybe it's exactly what the Prince needs.
