I couldn't believe my eyes. I was standing in front of the badest pirate. He's stolen ships, burned islands down, threw men overboard into the sharks, and he's burned women alive for even touching a ship.
"How dare you men let this piece of garbage be your captain?" I looked around at my crew and I saw their heads go down into shame. A women wasn't supposed to be on a ship, let alone be a captain.
"I'll show you where women need to go." His crew mate let my arms go and threw me down to the wooden deck. I was picked up again by him and I was dragged to the side of the ship. He hung my head over so I was staring at the crystal blue sea. I heard the draw of a sword and I closed my eyes tightly.

This is a book set in the past, it's about pirates, love, mystery, and a heck of a lot of action.
