A raging inferno is coming. The blazing flare of the flames rising to the sky in a symphony of cries and colors, a beautiful star of the abyssal despair and eternal glory shining across the cosmos. Shrouded in the evils of the world, a soul will be saved or broken by the choices to be made.

We all think that the Phoenix Riders are evil, right? That they're blood-thirsty monsters, those who only bring corrupted judgement upon the innocent. That they all have blood on their hands, and they can't just justify for the screaming souls who had been mercilessly slaughtered. And that they all have horrible backstories, of which you people need to feel pity for.

Phoenix Riders aren't like that. Not all of them kill. They don't crave for war. They don't all have heart-wrenching backstories that you need to feel pity on. They're all just normal people trying to protect their own, they aren't the villains people make them out to be.

However, it doesn't mean that life will make it any easier for them. Especially if your name happened to be Ash Akarane. So what do you do when life decides to deal you a bad hand? It's simple.

You fight with everything you got with your friends right by your side.

This story begins in the country of Britannia. A country where several certain races live with one another. And at the center of these races stood a girl. A beautiful girl with wild molten hair and eyes that reflected the universe. She was the creation of love and the child of wilderness. She was someone full of wisdom, wisdom she had gathered from centuries of experience. Many don't know how she was born, some saying that she was the daughter of the blazing sun while others say that she was born from ashes during an alluring eclipse. The name they called her? Malaika Kya. Angel from the diamond sky. For eons she wandered, visiting many kingdoms and gaining many friends. She battled battles that many would have died from, protecting those she holds dear. Slowly, her family began to grow. Person by person, home by home, kingdom by kingdom. Her heart spreading the biggest of wings. But then it happened. The one she loved most was attacked, almost dying because of someone's idiocy. And so she fought. She fought for her dying family, soon gaining the powers of the internal flame buried deep inside her. Screeching her painful cry, she fought in her new form with all her might. But it wasn't enough as it's hand sprouted from her body. Tears fell from the eyes of her lover, his eyes wide as he watched her body wither in pain. Hey dark eye were gentle a she watched his physical pain disappear, his wounds sealed shut as he snatched her closer one more time. Softly she apologized, saying words she wanted so badly to say before sealing their goodbye with a kiss. After one last smile, she disappeared into the fire below, her body dissipating into the molten flames as her words echoed into the soundless wind. "Mind telling me about that promise again?"

"Long ago they're where six types of magic, Water, Fire, Nature, Shadow, Earth, Weather and Dark magic Wich is rarely given, the animals who wield this magic are called Sparks. Sparks live in a land called HollowLedgend and in Hollowledgend there are many towns and cities one named Nevershard, the one I use to live in. Every year there is a festival celebrating the six elements called Springfall Festival, everyone has to go there. In the towns and cities are schools but one school by the name of Phandome Academy sits a little ways near Horn Castile any one would be very lucky to get an invite from that school, and I just happen to be one of them." Flow was an ordinary Water Spark she had an ordinary family and life but all that changed when she got a invite to Phandome Academy, there she learns skills and makes friends, sooner a rumor starts going around about a quest, Flow goes on that quest dragging her friends along. Flow sooner realizes this is not a game and that she has to defeat a dragon in an icy dome with whispering songs and if she fails darkness will fall and almost every one will turn to dust.

NOTE: This is kinda old now, dawg why is this getting reads now? A Wings Of Fire story that takes place in the depths of the Sky'wing Kingdom, following the story of a powerful hybrid dragonet who has to fight in the infamous arena regularly for most of his life, until... ? This a story based on the book series Wings Of Fire, obviously. In this universe, most of the canon events didn't happen, and are instead replaced by my own original stories and characters. No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. WARNINGS: • Violence + blood • May contain explicit / aggresive language / Mild swearing, etc. • May contain character death / drama, etc. You may: • Draw fanart of the characters. • Write about the characters. [No NSFW, excluding violence/gore] *Both with credit* You may NOT: • Use the characters from this story in a roleplay. • Claim the characters as your own. • Make characters of any fantribes in this story (or any other of my stories) *without permission.* This rewrite was written by Fefek1 / DinoFefe#6956 / Fefe / Me. All of the art is drawn by me. This excludes most realistic backgrounds, as they are just photos I've found online. All dragons drawn are 100% drawn by me, though. CHANGES ADDED IN THIS REWRITE: • Name changes • A LOT more art and references! • Both minor and major plot changes • Overall written better, and more coherently • Better dialogue • More realistic characters (Hopefully?) • Most of the cringey stuff removed (Hopefully?) • Longer • More backstories/character lore [Old version: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/323920781-wings-of-fire-bluefire Read at your own risk, because It REALLY SUCKS

Gwyneth had always felt connected to her faith, a higher power presiding over her. That faith had shaken that devastating day those years ago, the day that went on to haunt her every nightmare for years to come. She's still trying to come back from it, to not only restore her faith in life and love, but her faith in herself. The sanctity of her spirit- she prayed for resolve. Every punch was a prayer. Every mile was a hymn. Until her knuckles bled and her knees gave. Azriel had been surrounded by darkness his whole life, a poison on his world, on his being. He exercised restraint in his every waking moment, banishing that darkness within himself. Some guessed of the strain it put on him, but no one knew the extent of it, how deep his scars ran. It was better this way, he was sure. He had always thought that if there were a higher power- which he wholly doubted- such deities must loathe him to have burdened him such darkness. He hadn't much faith in the gods anyway, much less faith that he could sway their opinion on him. But Gwyneth and Azriel did have one thing in common: the quiet fight within themselves. They only knew one way: to go about it alone, couldn't fathom letting another in. But there's a magic in finding someone who is your equal but opposite, something transforming. And frankly, Gwyneth and Azriel could both use a little magic. All characters owned by SJM in the ACOTAR series. Story takes place after the events of ACOSF. Aligns with the events in my other fic: A Storm of Flames and Deceit. I haven't finished Crescent City, so this story takes place outside of the events of those books as well. CONTENT WARNING ⚠️ Mentions of r*pe, use of profanity, explicit content, sexual content, violence, torture, mentions of suicidal thoughts and depression, mentions of self harm

The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. In order to save Zertima from potential collapse and eternal perishing, four young mages are found, called the Elemental Mages. The Mages - Water, Earth, Fire, and Air - are taken to a sheltered location named the Mage Sanctuary to train together and prepare for their eventual battle with the Venom's Curse and to rid of the trepidation he has cast across all of Zertima. However, not all of the Mages are willing to commit their life to train with the others and help save the mage world. Ignacia, the Elemental Mage of Fire, is the newest and last mage to be Founded and come to the others.
