The world is slowly falling into despair. The sand rapidly approaches, bringing everything and everyone down with it. There are only a small handful of safe havens left. Over the past two hundred years, the sand has claimed more and more victims.

Avra has always dreamed of seeing the world beyond the city walls. She has only heard rumors of the wonderful land, but those fake stories were never enough for her. She wishes to go there herself -- to the beautiful, peaceful land that she has heard so much about. However, there is a problem. Not one person has went past those gates in hundreds of years. What are the chances that she'll be able to accomplish something that no one else has?

Evander is a commander of an army, sent out to discover the mystery behind the destructive sand. As commander, it is his duty to see his job through. He must travel the world in search of answers, risking his and his men's lives for a higher cause. Though, with the team he's stuck with, this may be more than he can handle.

In order to save the world, they must be able to work together and find out who is responsible for the exitium's destruction.
