Most kids spend their time playing outside or simply dreaming. But not Charlie. Charlie who has spent long hours putting her baby brother to sleep or preparing dinner for her siblings.
Charlie's childhood was never like the rest, she grew up watching her mother getting pregnant over and over again with strangers' babies. She sacrificed her childhood to take care of her family, not that she had any choice.
Still, at fifteen years old, Charlie has never gone to a party or stayed up late at night talking to a boy. There wasn't any time for luxuries like that. With no one she could call dad and a mother who was lost in a world all her own, the responsibility of replacing the parents her family never really had fell upon Charlie's shoulders. Eight siblings depended on her. Yes, eight brothers and sister.
Yet, she wouldn't change anything. Charlie knew each one of her siblings made her grow and become a better person. They brought light to her life and created wonderful memories.
With a new school, new job, and a new baby on the way, can Charlie survive her chaotic yet wonderful life?
