Emma knows her dad didn't mean to turn her mum into a monster. She persuades herself that what she did to her mum wasn't her fault, she didn't kill her mum she killed the monster. However still when she fights for her survival she can't help but feel guilt and remorse for the life she tries so hard to forget.
