Gerard Way one shot: Watercooler romance

Gerard Way one shot based on the song cubicles by My Chemical Romance. You can read this fanfic without listening to the song but I recommend that you do and maybe even look up the lyrics. But tbh it probably won't make too much of a difference.

To an onlooker Gerard way is your average American citizen. He has a stable office job, and his own apartment. But if you looking more closely at his life you would see how alone he is. His entire life is scheduled down to the minute, and he goes through everything on his own. He wants, more than anything, to be together with the girl he loves.

But the clock is ticking as Gerard's physical and mental health deteriorates. But no-one wants to die alone, do they?
