Lucy Heartfilia is a singer and guitarist, her mum Layla Heartfilia passed away when she was only six. Layla Heartfilia was a world-renowned pianist and was loved by many people. Lucy keeps a memory of her mum by playing the guitar at the tree Layla used to take Lucy to when she was younger. 

Natsu is a the lead singer of the band Element 4 and also plays the bass guitar. He wasn't the kindest of of boys in primary school but over time develops feelings in highschool for the girl who hates him Lucy Heartfilia because he bullied her best friend. 

She hopes one day her Melody can save the one true memory of her mum.
