My name is Aricia.

I am the princess of Denolia, a large kingdom in the heart of the land, perched in the middle of a beautiful waterfall. Ours is a rich kingdom, a prosperous and peace loving kingdom... but that does not mean we are free of danger. Our enemys have been moving in from all side and have even started to sent assassins, anything to destroy our bloodline... for we are different.

You see, my family and I can use magic, and not just that... we have wings. The art of magic was lost long ago, but there are still people from other tribes and other bloodlines that have wings, or can change into animals... but we are an endangered race, and shadow groups are moving against us, soon we will be extinct.

Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

A land called Sataria is no place for freedom or peace, but a split land filled with dishonesty. It has been erupted by a cold hearted king that promises his people for a better future just to be growing hatred and fear among each other. Refusing unity by the misleading king the people have drifted a rift between them 'the norms' and 'the marks'. The Marks are misjudged people who were born with a supernatural ability. They try living in the dark shadows hiding there marks and themselves , but to be shun by a mistrustful concocted lie. By the kings hatred toward them they are abused and used by the king himself and his people 'the norms'. Rose has lost both her parents, and found out she was a mark all by the age of 13. Her aunt and uncle take her in just to find out she has a rare marking no like any other with more than one ability. With time of training and hiding she was happy by the love of her family until it all goes downhill. She experiences lost, friendship, love, betrayal and realization all to end up losing or finding herself and killing or saving the people she loves. 'The Clarity' is a group of marks who want to change the world. They are willing to do anything possible to save there kind and stop the king and the mistreatment by 'the norms'. They are fighting in the shadows waiting for there missing piece of the puzzle, so they can complete there destiny.

This story really starts in the middle. Ari, who often goes by A, is propped up against a tree in the middle of a forest with a dagger in her stomach. She's lost a lot of blood already, and she keeps losing more. Helios is kneeling next to her, and they're both trying to figure out what to do. I'll start at the beginning, though. Ari is a wanderer, traveller, adventurer, and lots of other things. She doesn't have a home, until one day she does. She's chased into the Akiire territory by the Akiire's enemies; the Tesera. Luckily for her, the chief of the Akiire tribe takes her in. Akiire medicine men and women fuss over her until they're sure she's safe. Then the Akiire initate her as a member of their tribe. She gladly accepts. She's started to like it there, after all. Then Helios starts talking to her. He's nothing special in the tribe. He's a good warrior, but all the warriors are good. The bad ones have already died. Nonetheless, by the time we get to the forest with the dagger and all that, A has only spoken to Helios a few times. Now he's her only way to stay alive.
