Andy Olivers is nearly done her school year, and needs a job so she can go on a trip to Europe with her two best friends, William Thornton and Rue Kae. Yet, being clumsy, she's not quite cut out for anything more than grating cheese.

Then, her and her friend, Rue, see a Help Wanted poster. They apply immediately. Rue as a waitress, Andy as a... Cook?! She makes the mistake of lying about her cooking skills to the owner, and she's hired. Will she succeed in making the cut, or will her job not lift off?
