Evangeline and the Guardians

Evangeline May has run out of luck.

Her parents split has resulted in her mother stealing them away to a town, far from home, where no one can find them, and her new school brings bullies in the form of a pestering guy and his jealous ex.

To escape it all one day she rushes off into the forests that surround the town.
She doesn't know the woods are forbidden to all but the most experienced hunters.
She doesn't know the danger that awaits.
