Jessica has always been popular, I mean with her electric personality and party loving spirit who wouldn't enjoy her company?
Becky however, has not. Becky has never really felt comfortable in her own skin. She's always aspired to be like Jessica- spontaneous, inspiring even. To her, she shines so bright- like a million bedazzled hot pink stars, and it feels as almost she will forever be in her shadow.
At this moment in time, Becky and Jessica haven't spoken in a year. Becky has unfriended Jessica on Facebook and has stopped contacting her altogether. J now realizes that she's not as independent and happy without her best friend in her life, and is confused as to what could have made Becky act this way. However, Becky couldn't be doing better: she's taking courses at community college, has her own apartment, and even a few friends... Things couldn't be better- or at least that's what she tried to tell herself. When Jessica reaches out, could a broken friendship blossom into much more?
